Finding your way around

Every screen in the workspace is built the same way. Once you know where things are on one, you know where they are on all of them.

The dark column on the left is the rail. It lists the modules, grouped under headings:

Group Modules you may see
— Today, your landing screen
Compliance Audits, Ramp inspections, Alcohol & substances, Findings, Corrective actions
Safety Safety reports, Hazards & risks, Safety actions, Change management, Safety performance, Safety boards, Emergency response, Safety promotion, Policy & objectives
Records Documents, Training
Analyse Reports
Administration Regulations, Settings, Parameters, People & access

You only see the modules your job opens, and a group heading only appears over modules you can see. The module you are in is highlighted in blue.

A module shown muted and unclickable is part of the product but not built yet — hovering it says Not built yet. It is shown so you can see the shape of the product from the first day.

The rail collapses to icons to give you more room, and it remembers your choice. On a phone or a narrow window, open it with the menu button at the top.

Most modules have more than one screen. These appear as tabs across the top of the module. Findings, for example, has To act on, All findings, Audits received and Insights. On an iPad in portrait, the tabs scroll sideways rather than wrapping.

  • Report a safety concern — always one click away, wherever you are.
  • Notifications (the bell) — what has reached you. Unread items are tinted; opening one marks it read and takes you to the record.
  • You — your name and photo. This menu holds the Theme switch (Auto, Light, Dark), Your profile, and the two ways to leave: Step out and Sign out. See Step out or sign out.

When you save something, a confirmation appears over your work for a few seconds, wherever you are on the page, then disappears. It means this action, just now, worked.

Anything worth finding again tomorrow goes to the bell instead, and to Today.
