Plan the programme
One programme per cycle, planned in five steps and approved by somebody who did not prepare it. Wingcert suggests the timeline; you decide it.
Open Audits › Programme. If there is no programme yet, select Start the programme.
The five steps
Section titled “The five steps”-
The cycle. Choose a start month and a length — 12, 24 or 36 months — and the regulations the programme monitors compliance with. Each length says what it suits.
-
Areas. Give each area an interval (6, 12, 24 or 36 months) and the checklist it is audited with. Wingcert suggests an interval from the area’s risk and its last audit.
-
Suppliers. Each supplier falls due on its own interval, from the supplier register.
-
The timeline. Month by month, with each audit placed. Select Move audits on the timeline to adjust any of them.
-
Approval. Submit it. Somebody holding Close out completed audits who did not prepare or change it approves it.
How Wingcert places audits
Section titled “How Wingcert places audits”- An audit falls due its interval after the area’s last audit.
- Areas never audited in Wingcert are spread through their first interval, so a first programme does not start with every area at once.
- An audit is never placed after it falls due, and at most two months early.
- Months are filled against your lead auditors — two audits per lead per month, to begin with — so nobody is asked to run five in March.
- If you move an audit past its due date, it is flagged for the approver.
Revisions
Section titled “Revisions”The programme changes as the year does. Each change is a new revision: drafted, then approved independently. When it is approved, its lines are kept exactly as worded that day, and the previous revision is kept as superseded.
To add a single audit, use Add one by hand on the programme page. Audits suggested by the programme advisor or by a signal arrive on the draft revision too, and are approved like any other change.
Re-planning replaces only the lines Wingcert placed. Lines you added by hand, or from the advisor or a signal, stay where they are.
