How signing in works
There is no password in Wingcert. What you see at auth.wingcert.com depends on what Wingcert already knows about the device in front of you.
Three things you might see
Section titled “Three things you might see”| What Wingcert knows | What you see | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| You are still signed in | Nothing — you go straight through | Nothing |
| This device is recognised | Welcome back, with your name | Select Continue as your name and touch your passkey, or type your PIN and Unlock |
| Nothing | Sign in | Use your passkey, or type your Work email and select Continue |
Moving between Wingcert platforms — from the compliance workspace to Training, say — happens without asking again while you are signed in.
Not you?
Section titled “Not you?”On a recognised device, Not name? under the button lets somebody else sign in. The device is not forgotten, so a shared machine stays personal for whoever normally uses it.
Ways to prove it is you
Section titled “Ways to prove it is you”In the order Wingcert offers them:
Signing in from your work email
Section titled “Signing in from your work email”-
Type your Work email — for example
you@yourairline.com— and select Continue. -
Your airline’s mark appears once Wingcert recognises the address. You will see If that address is registered, a sign-in code is on its way.
-
Enter the six digits under Sign-in code — from your authenticator app, or from the email Wingcert just sent — and select Sign in.
-
Tick This is my own device before you sign in if it is yours. You stay signed in for 30 days. Leave it unticked on shared or hangar machines.
Where you are going
Section titled “Where you are going”If you came from a Wingcert platform, the bottom of the page shows Signing in to and its name, and what it will receive about you — your name, email and airline. Wingcert’s own platforms do not ask you to approve this separately.
