I can't see a module, or a button is missing
Wingcert only offers what you can actually do. When something is missing or refused, the reason is almost always your job, a rule of independence, or the record's state — and Wingcert usually says which.
A module is missing from the rail
Section titled “A module is missing from the rail”Your job does not open it. What you can see comes entirely from the jobs you hold. Ask whoever administers access at your airline.
You can see exactly what your job opens on Your profile › What you do here.
A module is greyed out
Section titled “A module is greyed out”It is shown muted and unclickable, and hovering it says Not built yet: it is part of Wingcert but not available yet. It is shown so you can see where the product is going. See What’s new.
A figure says “not yours to see”
Section titled “A figure says “not yours to see””Your job does not open the records behind it. It does not mean they are clear.
An action is refused, with a reason
Section titled “An action is refused, with a reason”Wingcert explains refusals in plain sentences. The three common kinds:
| Kind | Example | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Your job | Closing a finding needs Verify and close findings. | Ask your administrator, or somebody who holds it. |
| Independence | You submitted this plan, so somebody else decides on it. | Ask a colleague. Not even an administrator can override this — it is read from what you did, not from your job. |
| The record’s state | Fieldwork starts once the audit is prepared. | Do the earlier step first. |
You were held at the welcome screen
Section titled “You were held at the welcome screen”Until your pre-flight checks are done, the workspace stays closed. Finish them — including signing for anything in your flight bag.
Your auditor or inspector authorisation does not stand
Section titled “Your auditor or inspector authorisation does not stand”Your auditor appointment does not stand today means your authorisation has lapsed or been suspended — usually a training or currency date. See Auditors, and talk to your compliance manager.
