Insights and signals
Every figure says how it is counted, over what window and from how many records — and opens the records behind it. No figure is ever about a person.
The rules every figure follows
Section titled “The rules every figure follows”- Computed when you look, never stored.
- Says how it is counted — the sentence is printed beside the figure.
- Shows its window and sample. Below your airline’s minimum sample, a share or a median says too few to say rather than a misleading number.
- Opens the records it counted. Select any number to see exactly which findings or audits it is made of.
- Never groups by person. People are never ranked.
What you can see
Section titled “What you can see”Holders of Create and schedule audits, Close out completed audits or Verify and close findings see the whole airline. Everybody else sees:
- the departments of the jobs they hold, and everything beneath them;
- the suppliers looked after by a job they hold;
- their own work, wherever it is.
As a post-holder, your area’s figure stands beside the airline’s; no other area is named.
Audits › Insights
Section titled “Audits › Insights”For the whole airline:
- The programme — adherence, planned audits running late, unplanned audits, coverage audited.
- Compliance — the compliance rate and non-compliances per audit, out of every question answered.
- Breakdowns — area against regulation as a heat map, by checklist, and found by others first.
Findings › Insights covers open and overdue findings, how fast they are answered and closed, and whether fixes held. See Findings insights.
Targets
Section titled “Targets”Set on Audits › Setup. Each figure then says in words whether it is on target, off it, or past its alert level. Use Propose department targets to have Wingcert suggest risk-based targets per department; nothing is applied until you tick it, then Set the ticked targets.
Signals
Section titled “Signals”Audits › Signals lists patterns Wingcert has found, each as a sentence with the records behind it — never a score. They are looked for every night, or select Look now:
- the same paragraph found again in one area;
- found by others first — an audit received found what our audits said was compliant, or never asked;
- a fix that did not hold;
- one root cause dominating;
- findings rising;
- plans late against target;
- paragraphs not yet audited near the end of the cycle;
- a supplier drifting.
For each To decide signal, choose:
| Decision | What happens |
|---|---|
| Plan a targeted audit | Added to the programme’s draft revision, and approved like any change. |
| Raise a systemic finding | A finding raised against the year’s compliance-monitoring record, answered like any other. |
| Watch | It wakes again if its evidence grows. |
| Dismiss | With a reason. It stays decided. |
The post named on Setup is emailed the night a new signal first appears.
The management review
Section titled “The management review”From Audits › Insights, Print the review produces the management review for the window on screen: the programme, compliance, findings, whether fixes held, root causes, every figure beside its target, signals and what was decided — with a summary in plain sentences worked out from the figures. It is sealed and kept, and listed on the page.
Exports
Section titled “Exports”Every records page downloads as Excel (xlsx) or CSV: the same rows you see, under the same scope. Every export is recorded.
