Invitation link expired
Enrolment links last 48 hours and can only be used once. When one stops working, nothing is wrong with your account.
Why it stopped working
Section titled “Why it stopped working”The link in Set up your Wingcert sign-in has one of three things true about it:
- it is more than 48 hours old;
- a newer invitation has replaced it — only the latest one works;
- it has been withdrawn by whoever invited you.
A link that has already been used also stops working. Links are short-lived and single-use on purpose: a forwarded link stops working rather than becoming a permanent way into your account.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”- You have not finished setting up yet. Ask whoever invited you to send another — it takes them a moment.
- You already finished on another device. You do not need the link at all. Sign in instead.
If you were not expecting an invitation
Section titled “If you were not expecting an invitation”You can ignore it — nothing happens until the link is opened. Please tell the person named in the email either way, so they know.
