Emailed sign-in codes
Behind every other way in sits an emailed code. It always works — but it relies on your company's mail system, which Wingcert cannot see or control.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”When you type your work email and select Continue, Wingcert sends an email titled Your Wingcert sign-in code. The code itself is deliberately not in the subject line, so it does not appear in notification previews on a locked phone.
- The code is six digits.
- It expires in 10 minutes and works once.
- Enter it under Sign-in code and select Sign in.
If the code is wrong, expired or already used, you see the same message: That code is not valid. Request a new one. Select Use a different address to start again and get a fresh code.
When it is slow
Section titled “When it is slow”Some company mail gateways hold messages before delivering them — at one airline, for longer than a code lasts. If that happens to you:
- Use an authenticator app instead. It gives you a code straight away and never touches email.
- Better still, add a passkey once you are in, so your next sign-in needs no code at all.

Too many attempts
Section titled “Too many attempts”After repeated requests or wrong codes you will see Too many attempts. Try again in a few minutes. Wait about ten minutes, then try again.
