My sign-in code didn't arrive
The code is sent at once, but your company's mail system may hold it before it reaches you. Here is what to check, and how to avoid waiting next time.
Check, in this order
Section titled “Check, in this order”-
Wait a minute or two. Some company mail gateways scan messages before delivering them.
-
Look in junk, spam and quarantine. The subject is Your Wingcert sign-in code. If your organisation uses a quarantine portal, check there.
-
Check the address. Select Use a different address and make sure you typed your work email exactly. Wingcert gives the same answer for every address, so a typo will not be pointed out.
-
Request a new code. Each code lasts 10 minutes and works once. If yours has expired, start again for a fresh one.
Don’t wait for email at all
Section titled “Don’t wait for email at all”- Authenticator app — a code appears on your phone straight away. Type it into the same Sign-in code box. See Use an authenticator app.
- Passkey — one touch, no code. See Passkeys.
Once you are in, add one of these from your account page so this does not happen again.
Still nothing?
Section titled “Still nothing?”- If you see Too many attempts. Try again in a few minutes., wait about ten minutes.
- If codes never arrive at all, your IT team may need to allow mail from Wingcert. Contact support and say which airline you are with; we can work with your IT team.
