Findings at a glance
One register for every finding from our audits, our supplier audits, and audits done to us. Each one is answered by the area, decided by somebody else, and closed by somebody independent.

The lifecycle
Section titled “The lifecycle”Draft → Open → Plan submitted ⇄ Returned → Plan accepted → Closed
| State | What is happening | Who acts next |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Being written — during fieldwork, or typed in from an audit received. | The auditor, or whoever records the audit received. |
| Open | The report was issued; the response clock is running. | The post it is routed to: write the plan. |
| Plan submitted | A root cause and actions are waiting for a decision. | A holder of Verify and close findings. |
| Returned | The plan needs changing — the reason is on the finding. | The post, again. |
| Plan accepted | The actions are being carried out. Shown as Actions under way, Awaiting verification or Ready to close. | Action owners, then verifiers. |
| Closed | Done, with a closure note an auditor can read. | Nobody. A reopening raises a new finding. |
| Withdrawn | No longer owed. It stays on the record with the reason. | Nobody. |

What you can see
Section titled “What you can see”You see findings in the departments of the jobs you hold and everything beneath them, findings for suppliers your jobs look after, and your own work wherever it is. A finding in another area is simply not found. Holders of Verify and close findings and the audit planners see the whole airline.
